Enjoy a good old-fashioned day at the village!

Come and escape the heat as we explore how water of all kinds and for all uses differed between the past and the present.  We'll be making home-style fizzy lemonade, learning about the generation of power by looking at our Water Wheel, doing the washing and visiting the new Water-Park at Lloyd Elsmore.  Don't forget our Summer highlight - the water-slide!

Bell House Sunday, 11 February 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

While even the era’s most flirtatious games might seem tame today, in a time when touching a lady’s hand might prompt a blush and a reprimand, the intimacy offered by Victorian parlour games must have seemed pretty exciting. Dress up and join us in our beautiful Bell House for our Match Maker Match Maker fun filled afternoon where you will be treated like ladies and gents, served drinks and nibbles, followed by parlour games. Tickets will be limited to 15 ladies and 15 men, between the ages of 30-40 years. Who knows, this Valentines month you may find your Match?

Due to the historic nature of the venue, we ask that all guests refrain from wearing stilettos.
