Due to limited display and storage space, the Howick & Districts Society has placed a temporary hold on acquiring new objects.

This hold will remain in effect until 1 January 2026.

Make a donation

As an independent charity, we rely on the support of our visitors, community and volunteers to preserve our local history and culture.

Your admission fee is crucial in helping us meet our day-to-day running costs, but we always need additional funds for long-term conservation and development projects. There are several ways in which you can give to our work – every dollar really does make a difference. You can make a one off donation by using our give-a-little page. We also accept donations at the front desk of the museum.

If you would like to remember the Howick Historical Village in your will, we would be happy to talk to you about how your gift could benefit the future work of the museum.

Thank you so much for your support.
