We'd love to welcome you to the Research Library! Here's what you need to know to plan your visit:

Visiting Hours
We're open by appointment, Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 3pm (closed on public holidays).

Planning Your Visit
To help us prepare for you, please book your appointment in advance and let us know the purpose of your visit when you do. Please also note that materials must stay within the library and cannot be taken off-site.

Research & Copying Services
If you'd like our Howick Historical Village staff to carry out research on your behalf, or if you need copies of materials, a small fee applies to help cover our costs — pricing details are below.

Photocopying - Black and White

Photocopying - colour

High quality digital image - emailed to address supplied

You may notice our photocopy prices are a little higher than standard print shops. That's because your payment covers more than just the copy, it also supports the safekeeping and long-term storage of our history.
