Step back in time to discover the traditions of Valentine's Day. Decode the secret language of flowers, fans, handkerchiefs and letters. Monogram your initials on a hanky and make a scented lavender sachet for that special someone. Stroll the picturesque streets, pausing to watch artists painting in the plein air style of the 1800's . Purchase sweets for your sweet in the old-fashioned Sweet Shop!

Churn cream into butter or attend a Victorian school lesson. With demonstrations of blacksmithing and bookbinding throughout the day, and performances by Morris dancers at 10:30 & 11:30, and the bagpipe band at 12 pm, there will be lots to entertain everyone!

Have lunch at the Homestead Café or pack a picnic to enjoy in the grounds. Make a day of it!
