Fright Night

As part of the Festival of Frights 2026, 

Howick Historical Village presents an All Hallows' Eve 'Fright Night' at the Village!

Scare your way around the Victorian Village but beware of fiendish and frightening villagers lurking in the haunted house, creepy cottages, church graveyard and other spooky sites! 

Explore the decorated grounds, survive the haunted house and complete our Halloween trail and head out across the grounds to hear and see extra scary sights on this night. 

For an extra sweet treat visit the sweet shop filled with old-fashioned lollies and fudge. BYO food or feast from the many food vendor options on site on the night. 

Plan out your super scary costumes and get set for a night of ghoulish good times and plenty of scares!

Pre-booking tickets is strongly advised. There will only be a limited number of door sales. Children under 14 must be accompanied. Tickets are non-refundable. Note: this event proceeds rain or shine.
