Explore the historic buildings and heritage gardens, where costumed villagers bring the past to life. Learn about much-loved storybook characters and discover more in a fairytale trail through the gardens.
Taste freshly baked goods hot from the coal range in Puhi Nui Homestead, and visit the sweet shop filled with old-fashioned lollies and fudge! The blacksmith will be at work in the forge, woodworkers in the carpenter’s workshop, and the schoolmistress ready to teach Victorian school lessons at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.
Enjoy outdoor games and shows - Morris dancing at 11:00 am and 12:00 pm and the bagpipe band at 12:30 pm. There will be lots of fun for everyone! Have brunch or lunch at Homestead Café and make a day of it.
